Role Overview:
The Human Resources Generalist provides daily transactional support to assigned business units under the guidance of the site HR Manager. This role requires 3–5 years of HR experience, preferably with growth in previous roles, and the ability to work onsite in a high-volume call center environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Primary support to the HR Manager.
- Administers core HR services in line with corporate and site policies.
- Acts as liaison between HR and centers of excellence (Talent Acquisition, Compensation, Benefits, Payroll).
- Manages onboarding and offboarding for assigned units.
- Maintains employee data and records (electronic and hardcopy).
- Handles Leave of Absence requests (FMLA, ADA, etc.).
- Communicates company policies and procedures.
- Supports performance evaluation processes.
- Ensures compliance with Workers Compensation and federal/state laws.
- Provides employee relations support under HR Manager guidance.
- Communicates HR information effectively to employees.
- Supports unemployment insurance compliance and reporting.
- Prepares reports and handles HR administrative tasks.
- Upholds company policies and guidelines.
- Performs other tasks as assigned.
