Overview

We are seeking a driven and results-oriented B2B Outbound Sales Agent to join our Telco sales team. In this role, you will engage with small and medium-sized businesses through outbound calls to introduce and promote innovative telecommunications solutions, including business internet, wireless, and fiber services. You will use a consultative sales approach to understand each client’s operational needs, recommend tailored solutions, and drive revenue through successful sales conversions. The ideal candidate is highly motivated, confident in handling objections, and passionate about helping businesses improve their connectivity and communication capabilities while consistently meeting sales and performance targets.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Make outbound calls to prospective business customers to introduce and sell telecommunication solutions such as business internet, wireless plans, and fiber services.
  • Identify and qualify B2B sales opportunities by understanding the customer’s current telecom setup, operational needs, and potential pain points.
  • Apply consultative sales techniques to present tailored telecom solutions that improve connectivity, productivity, and cost efficiency for businesses.
  • Effectively handle objections, negotiate offers, and close sales while maintaining a professional and client-focused approach.
  • Accurately document customer interactions, leads, and sales activities in CRM systems to ensure proper tracking and follow-up.
  • Meet or exceed sales targets, call productivity metrics, and quality standards set by the program.
  • Maintain strong knowledge of telecom products, services, promotions, and competitors to confidently position solutions to business clients.

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Sales Experience:
    • Minimum 2 years of outbound sales experience in a contact center or face-to-face environment.
    • Telecom sales experience strongly preferred (wireless, broadband, cable, VoIP, etc.).
  • Communication Skills:
    • Excellent verbal communication — clear, confident, and engaging phone presence.
    • Strong active listening skills to identify customer needs and respond appropriately.
  • Consultative Sales & Negotiation Skills:
    • Proven ability to overcome objections, negotiate effectively, and close sales.
    • Comfortable with consultative and needs-based selling approaches.
  • Technical Aptitude:
    • Ability to quickly learn and explain technical telecom products and services, including devices, plans, features, and competitive differentiators.
    • Experience using call center systems, CRMs (e.g., Salesforce, Genesys), and multi-screen navigation.
  • Performance Orientation:
    • Track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas or performance KPIs.
    • Ability to manage time effectively, prioritize tasks, and handle high call volumes.
  • Compliance & Professionalism:
    • Knowledge of and commitment to complying with telemarketing regulations (e.g., TCPA, do-not-call lists) and company policies.
    • Maintains professionalism in all customer interactions, especially while encountering customer resistance and rejection.
  • Behavioral Traits:

  • Education:
